ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a CRM & Marketing Automation Intern (m/f/d)
to join our Revenue Operations team based here in Berlin, a wonderful opportunity to be part of our ongoing growth and success.

What is CRM?

CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is a system that helps manage customer interactions across the entire journey, from acquisition to retention, ensuring personalized and consistent experiences. In this role, it’s used to support lifecycle marketing across the funnel.

WHAT YOU´LL DO

  • Set up CRM campaigns, including emails, app notifications, and direct mail to deliver targeted communication to new and existing clients
  • Create and adapt CRM journeys, run A/B tests, and analyse the results to optimize their performance
  • Actively contribute to the development of the CRM channel at Pliant for all current and future products and countries
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Product, and Content teams to deliver relevant communication to customers
  • Show attention to detail when it comes to content creation, email design, and the sendout of email, in-app, and direct mail campaigns
  • Show an analytical mindset and are not afraid to work with large data sets
  • Measure and report on each channel's performance to identify optimization opportunities
  • Research AI use cases, CRM trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team

WHAT YOU´LL BRING

  • Ownership mentality—you’re eager to own, push, and learn fast
  • Strong interest in Marketing & Customer Journey Automation and at least 1 year of relevant experience; ideally within the B2B fintech sector
  • Proficiency in working with CRM systems and email marketing tools; experience with HubSpot is an advantage
  • Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills and can prioritize your tasks in a dynamic environment
  • A strong hands-on mentality and find pragmatic solutions to complex challenges.
  • A high affinity for data and can derive CRM actions from relevant business metrics
  • Fluent in English; German or any additional European languages will be an advantage
  • You are based in Berlin or have the desire to relocate to Berlin as a plus
