ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical
Talent Acquisition Specialist (m/f/d) to join our dynamic Talent Team in Pliant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring exceptional Technical talent for various positions and levels within the company. This role involves close collaboration with hiring managers up to CTO level to ensure the recruitment process aligns with the company’s goals and culture.

Ideally this role will be based in Berlin, where we have a hybrid work policy, but we can consider a remote location.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Sourcing and Recruitment:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality Engineering and Technical candidates in Germany and across Europe
  • Utilise job boards, social media, and networking events
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (Bamboo)

Candidate Screening and Selection:

  • Review CVs and applications as per team and company requirements
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews for roles from Individual Contributor to C level
  • Assist in interview panels and candidate assessments

Interview Process:

  • Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates' skills and cultural fit
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers

Employer Branding:

  • Promote the company as an employer of choice through various channels
  • Participate in job fairs, career events, and networking opportunities
  • Develop relationships with educational institutions and professional organisations

Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with European employment laws
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition
  • Assist with improving the recruitment process

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Previous strong experience with full cycle technical recruitment from job description to offer stage with experience recruiting for a variety of roles and levels
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment especially with an understanding of the needs and expectations of a high performing Engineering team
  • Ability to speak to technical candidates “in their language” and an understanding of our tech stack
  • Experience in working to improve processes and procedures to best streamline a recruitment process in an agile way
  • Ideally you will have a technical or engineering background/ relevant degree but this is not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal English, any other European language is a plus
