ABOUT THE ROLE

As (Senior) Product Manager – Counterparties & Payments, you will own the systems and experiences that define who our customers transact with and how payments are initiated on the Pliant platform. You will drive the development of our Payables and Receivables capabilities, including invoice ingestion, counterparty onboarding, and outbound/inbound payment initiation, primarily to support partners building AP/AR and financial workflows on top of Pliant.

You will lead a cross-functional product team of frontend and backend engineers and a product designer. In addition, you will collaborate closely with other product teams as well as Sales, Partnerships, Payment Operations, Data, and Risk & Compliance to ensure alignment across customer needs, platform capabilities, and downstream accounting and payment integrations.

  • Produce clear, actionable product requirements and drive execution with cross-functional teams

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 5+ years of product management or relevant experience in fintech, payments, accounting systems, or financial infrastructure

  • Experience with entity models, reconciliation, or merchant/payee identity resolution
  • Technical fluency and ability to work closely with backend engineering on complex systems
  • Experience partnering with operations, compliance, and integrations teams in a regulated environment
  • Structured problem-solving ability and a pragmatic, execution-focused mindset
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
