Your mission
QuantPi is seeking a motivated computer science working student to join our
Research and Innovation team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to
contribute to groundbreaking research and development in the field of AI Testing,
leveraging your analytical skills and gaining hands-on experience through working
with an international team. You will bring best practices from software
development to enhance our AI testing workflows and collaborate with an
international team to ensure efficient and robust research processes. Join us on
our mission to enable society for a safe and self-determined co-existence with
intelligent machines.
Your profile
Your responsibilities
  • Supporting the continuous integration, testing, and deployment processes for
  • various kinds of research prototypes.
  • Implement code, review and document within the research and innovation
    team.
  • Organizing experiments related to data quality and interpreting the results,
    while applying software engineering principles to experiment design and
    execution.
  • Collaborating with researchers to translate research ideas into robust,
    maintainable code.

Qualification
  • Master's student in Data Science, AI, ML, Software Engineering, Computer
    Science or similar.
  • A strong desire and passion to understand complex systems and find fast and
    pragmatic, innovative solutions.
  • Internships, projects, or research work related to data science or machine
    learning with a focus on computer vision is a strong plus.
  • Experience in programming with Python, especially with libraries such as
    NumPy, PyTorch and Pandas.
  • Familiarity with data visualization (any of Streamlit, Bokeh, Matplotlib, Plotly, or
    similar).

Preferred skills
  • Strong skills in software engineering (use of Git, production-ready code.)
  • A solid understanding of undergraduate mathematics and statistics is desired.
  • Meaningful out-of-the-box thinking is a plus.

Our current office in Saarbrücken is co-located with Saarland Informatics

cybersecurity. Recently, we opened a hub in Berlin and are looking to further
expand the QuantPi footprint with additional hubs.
