Your mission and responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Senior Solution Engineer to act as a key technical contributor in our sales and customer success lifecycle. This is a high-impact position where you will strategically design, implement, and optimize our AI platform’s integration within our customers’ cloud environments. You will be an expert in our technology and a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring their long-term success through post-sales implementation and adoption. This role combines hands-on technical work with close collaboration between customer technical teams and our internal engineers. We have offices in Berlin and Saarbrücken, and we prefer that you are within a reasonable distance (no relocation offered) to attend important meetings or events every now and then, as we value the power of human connection.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy and configure QuantPi platform in diverse customer environments, including private cloud, air-gapped, and SaaS.
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability, and integrate our platform with customer cloud infrastructure.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for new and existing customers during implementation, providing hands-on guidance and troubleshooting in collaboration with our Engineering teams.
  • Contribute to internal cloud infrastructure and deployment automation, ensuring efficiency across customer projects.
  • Create reusable deployment playbooks, automation scripts, and share customer environment feedback with our Product and Engineering teams to help shape the product roadmap.
Your profile
  • 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure experience.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Kubernetes deployment, configuration, and management (e.g., Helm, kubectl, operators, ingress controllers).
    • Container technologies (e.g., Docker, container registries).
    • Python/Bash scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
    • CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD/Flux CD, or similar).
    • Cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Experience with software deployments in complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven customer-facing technical delivery experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of identity management systems (e.g., OAuth, SAML, JWT).
  • Database administration (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  • Technical Customer Success or Solution Engineering background.
  • Fluency in German is a strong plus, given our market focus.
