Automation & Controls Integration Engineer (f/m/d)

• Develop and improve automation solutions for our systems
• Select and integrate automation hardware, terminals, and control components
• Develop and integrate pneumatic solutions and contribute to the creation and refinement of electrical and pneumatic schematics
• Support system integration, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
• Work closely with electrical, software, and mechanical engineering teams to bring subsystems into a reliable overall system
• Contribute to the design of PCBs for plug-in modules where needed
• Take ownership of automation and integration topics from prototype to robust deployment

• Background in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a similar field
• Experience in PLC programming and automation for complex technical systems
• Structured, hands-on approach to debugging, troubleshooting, and improving automation systems
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and turn technical concepts into reliable system solutions
• Proactive mindset with the willingness to take ownership in a scale-up environment
• Familiarity with safety-related automation concepts is a plus
• Experience with PCB design for modular electronic assemblies is a plus
